Math Coach Connection was created in 2019 as a way for me to create the math resources that I was always looking for. With 5 years of elementary math teaching experience and 2 years as a math coach, I saw the struggle of needing a math enrichment project, or an engaging story problem practice worksheet, or a differentiated easy-to-use resource, but not being able to find what I was looking for. And so, Math Coach Connection was born.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a certificate in Student-Centered Coaching (math focus) through the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as being a member of the Core Math Program for three years, numerous math trainings, and over 5 years of being a math coach and content creator, I am highly qualified to create math resources for use both inside and outside of the classroom.

But Math Coach Connection isn't just about the resources. My goal is to create a space where both parents and teachers can come to find ideas, resources, tips & more as they support their students and children with elementary math.

I believe that math should be engaging, should make sense and should be accessible to all. Learn more about how I can support you and your students/children on your math journey through my math resources, courses, a podcast, book collection, blog and more.

Math is taught so differently from the way we learned it growing up, and that can make helping your children with math at home a challenge. Well, I understand the struggle and I am here to help! The best part is, in order to help your child build math problem-solving skills, you actually don't have to do any math yourself (although it is helpful if you have an understanding of the math your child is learning--and don't worry, I'm here for you with that too)! Through my podcast, The Dog Ate My Homework, my blog post, freebies and more, you'll be equipped with the tools and strategies you need to help your child be successful not just on math homework, but as they grow as a mathematician.
